Scorched Earth is a paid DLC expansion pack for ARK Survival Evolved.
Scorched Earth adds 11 new creatures, more than 50 new items, a new Chief and a new map.
Tamed creatures and items received can be brought to the home island and used by people with and without expansion. DLC items can also be generated manually if you do not have the expansion pack. Two of the new creatures have multiple variations, such as the Jugbug (water and oil) and the Wyvern (fire, lightning, and poison).
In addition, the game features the ability to create a tribe that allows players to form a team and work towards common goals. Members of the tribe may have common structures and creatures. In one of the updates, the tribes were given the opportunity to declare war on each other.
